Irrevocable Trusts

Irrevocable trusts are trust which cannot be revoked from the inception of the document. Generally, irrevocable trusts are used for estate tax planning purposes and occasionally for long term care planning. Because they may lack flexibility, an irrevocable trust will only be used to address specific needs.
