Jill E. Van Eps, CLA

Jill E. Van Eps, CLA

Ms. Van Eps is our senior paralegal specializing in probate and guardianship. She obtained national certification as a Certified Legal Assistant in 1983. She maintains her certification through on-going training and workshops to keep her abreast of the changes in Probate and Guardianship Law.

Jill has a comforting demeanor for those clients who are grieving over the loss of a loved one. She is able to navigate the maze of probate with grace and ease. Jill’s many years of expertise are a definite bonus for this firm and for our clients.

For many years, she was accompanied to the office by her canine companion, Beau, who is now retired. The clients were always happy to have a wagging tail to comfort them in their time of need.

On a personal note, Jill comes to us via Iowa where she baled hay and walked the beans in a town she likes to call “a dot on the map” - where no one locked their doors and everyone knew your name. She attended Drake University pursuing a musical career, and then Omaha Art Institute to become a commercial artist where she won numerous awards for her creativity. Today, her interests include the study of natural alternative energy and sacred geometry.
