Denise Whalin
Denise Whalin is the Public Benefits Specialist for our office. She has worked side by side with Mary Alice Jackson since July of 2000 in helping clients to qualify for Medicaid benefits in long term care facilities. She assists clients throughout the entire Medicaid process starting with gathering documentation to actually making the application with the Department of Children and Families.
She has been married to her high school sweetheart for eighteen years and has twin daughters that keep her running all over town during her “free time”. When she isn’t running to pick them up from band practice or taking them to outings with their friends, she likes to work in her yard or sit on the back porch with a cold glass of ice tea and a good book.
Denise is a graduate of the University of South Florida where she received a Bachelors degree in Psychology. She is empathetic to people’s needs and loves to work with people of all ages, but especially the elderly. This makes her position in our firm a perfect fit.
